This photograph, showing a magnificent view of the Marden Wing of St. John's College, was taken from an album compiled by a British naval officer stationed in Hong Kong between 1956 and 1959. The following words were written on the page: "View of New Block of Flats near Victoria Peak~Hong Kong" July 1957.

Portrait of Lo Hin Shing taken in 1959 at the Francis Wu's Studio. Lo was one of the 33 residents admitted to St. John's Hall in the first term of 1912. The portrait was signed off at the bottom by Lo with "Yours Sincerely Hin Shing 20/1/59".
