A group photo of the members of St. John's Hall and Dr Foo Ping Sheung (seated, left 6), probably taken on 12 January 1931 on the occasion of HKU's award of the honorary Doctor of Laws degree to Foo. Seated next to Dr Foo were the Warden the Reverend C. B. Shann (left 7), Mrs Shann (left 8) and the Subwarden the Reverend N. V. Halward (left 5).
